Turn Quality Items Into Cash
Upscale Thrifts offers selective consignment for designer clothing, premium footwear, vintage BMX, and select vintage and collectibles. We look for quality items with strong resale appeal and carefully evaluate each submission to determine whether it is a good fit for our consignment program.
Items We Accept
We selectively accept items across four specialty categories. Brand, condition, desirability, age, rarity, and resale demand may all factor into our evaluation, depending on the item.
Designer Clothing
We consider designer and premium clothing with strong resale demand, including dresses, jackets, outerwear, denim, sweaters, tops, and other distinctive pieces. Current styles, timeless designs, and select vintage pieces may all be considered.
Representative Brands
Johnny Was • Rag & Bone • Veronica Beard • Theory • Vince • Eileen Fisher • Reformation • Anthropologie • Free People • Lululemon • Patagonia • St. John • Diane von Furstenberg • Alice + Olivia • Mother • Paige
This is not a complete list. We consider many other brands and select unbranded or vintage pieces based on style, quality, desirability, condition, and resale potential.
Premium Footwear
We consider well-made and desirable footwear including boots, shoes, sneakers, sandals, and specialty styles with strong resale appeal. Quality materials, craftsmanship, condition, style, and market demand all factor into our evaluation.

This is not a complete list. We consider many other premium, designer, heritage, and specialty footwear brands based on quality, condition, desirability, and resale potential.
Vintage BMX
We consider vintage and collectible BMX bikes, frames, forks, and select components with strong enthusiast or collector appeal. Brand, era, model, originality, condition, rarity, and period-correct components may all contribute to an item’s desirability and resale potential.
Representative BMX Brands
GT • Redline • Haro • Mongoose • Kuwahara • SE Racing • Hutch • Diamond Back • Torker • Robinson • Skyway • Dyno • Auburn • Boss • Free Agent • and other collectible BMX brands
Not sure what you have? That’s okay. Submit clear photos and any identifying marks or serial numbers you can find, and we’ll evaluate the item based on its individual characteristics and market potential.
Vintage & Collectibles
We consider select vintage and collectible items with strong resale or collector appeal, including toys, advertising pieces, memorabilia, decorative items, and other distinctive finds that are well suited to online resale. Age alone does not determine value—we look at maker, condition, rarity, desirability, current collector demand, and practical considerations such as size, fragility, and shipping requirements.
What We Look For
Distinctive design • Recognizable makers • Collector interest • Unusual or hard-to-find pieces • Strong condition • Practical for online resale and shipping • Proven resale demand
Vintage is a broad category, so you don’t need to know exactly what you have before submitting it. Clear photos, markings, labels, signatures, and any known history can help us identify and evaluate your item.
What Makes a Good Consignment Item?
The best consignment items combine quality, condition, desirability, and resale potential. Because every item is different, we evaluate submissions individually rather than relying on brand name or age alone.
Quality & Condition
Items should generally be clean, functional, and free from significant damage or excessive wear that would limit buyer interest.
Market Demand
We look for items with an established or emerging resale market and buyers actively seeking them.
Distinctiveness
Quality construction, recognizable design, rarity, craftsmanship, history, or collector interest can make an item especially appealing.
Resale Potential
Expected selling price must be sufficient to justify the time, research, preparation, marketing, and selling costs involved.
Items We Generally Don’t Accept
Because our consignment program is selective, some items may not be a good fit even when they are in good condition. We generally decline items with limited resale demand, significant damage or wear, questionable authenticity, or resale value that does not support the time and cost involved in professionally selling them.
Common Reasons We May Decline an Item
- Significant damage, heavy wear, odors, stains, or missing/broken components
- Limited buyer demand or an oversaturated resale market
- Questionable authenticity or insufficient identifying information
- Low expected resale value relative to the work and selling costs involved
- Items that fall outside our current areas of expertise or that we cannot confidently market
Not Sure If Your Item Qualifies?
Not sure whether your item is a good fit? Submit it for review. You don’t need to know the exact brand, model, age, or value— we’ll review the information you provide and let you know whether it may be suitable for our consignment program.
