How Consignment Works
Submit Your Items
Send photos of your items using our online submission form.
We Review & Approve
We review brand, condition, and resale value to determine whether the items are a good fit.
We Photograph & List
Accepted items are professionally photographed and listed on major resale marketplaces.
You Get Paid
When your item sells, you receive your share of the proceeds.
Commission Structure
Option A – Consignment
Items Sold Under $200
You Earn: 50%
Upscale Thrifts: 50%
$200 – $299
You Earn: 55%
Upscale Thrifts: 45%
$300 – $499
You Earn: 60%
Upscale Thrifts: 40%
$500+
You Earn: 65%
Upscale Thrifts: 35%
Option B – Immediate Buy Out
25% – 35% of sold comparable items, based on condition
Consignment Terms
Items are typically consigned for a period of 90 days. If an item does not sell during that time, you may retrieve the item, approve a sizeable price reduction, or allow the item to be donated.
Brands We Typically Do Not Accept
Upscale Thrifts focuses on premium brands with strong resale value. We generally do not accept fast-fashion or mass-market brands (unless new with tags or exceptional pieces).
